A feline was witnessed to apparently "levitate" in a series of still photos.

 Details  Print
I received a report of an apparent gravity-defying cat. Attached photos were sent as screen captures of a hi8 video shot over a period of about 45 seconds near Ness City, KS. The email stated that the cat, which had been in the tree above and to the photographer's left, leapt from a branch and suddenly stopped in mid-air, hanging there as if suspended for between 25 and 30 seconds. The cat then proceeded normally to the ground and walked away unhurt and seemingly unaffected. I’m hoping to have the full film cassette shortly in order to verify the occurrence.
