DND reporter Cassius van der Rijn, noted for his 'conjectural news reportage', wrote that on January 13, a number of people apparently mentioned that they had been telephoned by people they were thinking about. This is a well-known and well-documented coincidental phenomenon, but presumably it is purely chance. On the other hand, it does seem strange that it happened to such a large group of people – and again we see localization, so perhaps there is more to this than pure chance. Perhaps further investigation into this incident is merited. Beyond geographical location, there may have been a connection between the people involved, such as age or past history. |
