Sighting, Unidentified Craft, Europe
 Document #61  Status: Debated
 Class: Location: Europe, Year: 2003

 Summary
A report from England describes an unidentified object in the sky witnessed by several hundred individuals.

 Details  Print
I was recently informed that on August 19, 2003 several hundred people phoned in reports of what was described as a "glimmering, somewhat metallic" object in the sky over the Southern England. It hovered for several minutes and was then reported to have accelerated at a high rate of speed, making several right angle turns before being lost from sight. The unusually clear evening made the sightings all that much more remarkable.  Also unusual is that when interviewed separately, eyewitnesses describe a virtually identical experience.
